Members of the Manufactured Housing Institute and Manufactured Housing Association of Oklahoma are encouraged at all times to follow standards of professionalism, competency and integrity in their business practices and relationships with their customers, employees, competitors and the general public.
Financial Services Division
- Commit to professionalism, integrity and ethical practices as a provider of financial and insurance products and services to the manufactured housing industry.
- Comply, with all federal, state and local laws and regulations applicable to the financial and insurance products and services offered to the manufactured housing industry, including, but not limited to Equal Housing Opportunity, Fair Credit Reporting, Truth-in-Lending, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.
- Commit to improving the manufactured housing industry through appropriate consumer disclosure, quality customer service and participation with other industry companies and organizations also committed to the betterment of the industry.
- Commit to membership and participation in groups and industry trade associations, such as MHI and various state associations, seeking appropriate voluntary self-regulation, fair governance by regulatory agencies and quality products and services for the industry and its customers.
- Commit to the proper influence and encouragement of all business associates, customers and other industry members toward professional practices in the production and delivery of products and services to all areas of the industry.
- Support the industry principles of Truth-in-Invoicing
- Exercise prudent lending practices within the objectives of the individual firm, and within the long-range objectives of the manufactured housing industry.
